Intégrer un uploader des fichiers dans Drupal avec le module wysiwyg

This is a problem that Drupalians are familiar with: Uploading files in drupal via Drupal’s Wysiwyg editor is a calamity! In the absence of an out-of-ze-box function, I propose to explain how to set up a file uploader in the simplest way in the world!

Prerequisites :

Have already installed the Wysiwyg module and the text editor of your choice. I will not treat this part, other sites already do it very well. Here, I chose TinyMce 3.5.

The following module suite:

The installation:

Once these modules are installed, activate it and go to:

Administration »Configuration» Content Writing » Text Formats

Edit the desired text format configuration, and select the Convert Media tags to markup check box .

On the same page, at the very bottom, in Allowed HTML Tags, add the <img> tag.

Then go to Administration »Configuration» Content Writing  » WYSIWYG Profile and change the previously selected text format. In the Show Buttons and plugins section, add the Media browser function to your editor .

Remember to check the image option so that you can edit your file in the text editor.

Here you are! Test the edition of a content to see the new icon appear.

The functions are pretty basic, you can upload content or browse the previously uploaded content and insert it into any type of content for which your text format is enabled.

That’s it, you can now upload files to drupal. Enjoy!
